The qualities that Gavin inherits can encourage those around him. Gavin tactfully and positively inspires those in his spheres of influence, on and off the hockey turf. Coaching alongside Gavin Scott, I’ve seen firsthand the standard he sets. He’s exceptional in the way he works with players, always focused on helping individuals improve and get the best out of themselves. The Hockey Fest reflected exactly that. I brought my NWU hostel hockey team through and the experience was exceptional. The event was extremely well organized, everything ran smoothly, and the energy throughout was unreal. Gavin’s attention to detail and his ability to create an environment that is both high-performance and genuinely enjoyable really stood out.
